UNESCO AI Competency Framework for Students
- Purpose: Provides a structured guide for integrating AI learning objectives into official school curricula to prepare students as responsible users and co-creators of AI.
- Core Dimensions: The framework is organized into 12 competencies across four key areas:
- A human-centred mindset
- Ethics of AI
- AI techniques and applications
- AI system design
- Progression Levels: Competencies are categorized into three levels of mastery:
- Understand
- Apply
- Create
- Key Objectives:
- Promote critical judgement of AI solutions.
- Foster awareness of citizenship responsibilities in the AI era.
