- Definition: A strategy for dealing with toxic, narcissistic, or emotionally abusive individuals by becoming intentionally uninteresting and unresponsive to starve them of the emotional reactions they seek.
- Core Principle: Based on the psychological concept of "Extinction"—when a behavior no longer produces the desired reward (your reaction), the perpetrator is more likely to stop the behavior.

- Do not inform the person that you are using this technique.
